About this picture:
This picture was part of my cover story for New City– “The Death of Big Neon.” The story was published in 2006. Most of the signs are gone now. This image is great because of the old, 1950’s car and the pink letters. The whole sign screams 1950’s, a lost era. This business is now in Little Village, where I presume the land is cheaper.
